This notice explains in simple language what QAFox collects, why it is needed and the choices available to you.

Your projects are private by default.
Other QAFox users cannot view your projects, credentials or reports.
Your project data is not used for advertising or AI-model training.
Passwords and passcodes are stored only as one-way security hashes.
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data.

1. Information we collect

QAFox may collect:

Name, username and email address
Optional mobile number
Account and security activity
Project files you choose to upload
API definitions and testing configuration
Test results, reports and audit history
Essential technical logs needed for security and service reliability

2. Why we use it

Information is processed only to:

Create and protect your private account
Verify your email and recover access
Discover and test APIs you submit
Create and retain your requested reports
Prevent misuse and investigate failures
Maintain platform security and reliability

3. Project privacy

Projects are associated with the authenticated account that created them. QAFox is designed to prevent one user from accessing another user's projects.

Authorized operational access, where technically necessary, must be limited to maintaining, securing or troubleshooting the service.

4. Sharing

QAFox does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed only:

When you explicitly request sharing
To essential infrastructure providers acting on service instructions
When required by applicable law
To protect users, the platform or legal rights

5. Retention and deletion

Account and project data is retained while needed to provide QAFox services or meet legal and security obligations.

Future project settings will allow users to choose retention periods and permanently delete uploaded projects and generated reports.

6. Your choices and rights

You may request:

Access to your personal information
Correction or completion
Account and project-data deletion
Withdrawal of optional consent
Information about data processing
Assistance with a privacy grievance

7. Cookies and PWA storage

QAFox uses essential secure session cookies for authentication and CSRF protection. The PWA may cache public interface assets for faster loading and offline presentation.

Private dashboards, project data and credentials are not intentionally stored in the public PWA application cache.

8. Security

QAFox uses HTTPS, secure cookies, one-way credential hashing, account separation and restricted service access.

No internet service can promise absolute security. Report suspected account misuse immediately.
